Jerry Issac, a close acquintance to the founders and Directors of Hifadhi Africa, passed away in December 2013. He was a great Supporter in the growth of Hifadhi Africa. He was actively involved in the initial community development missions in East Pokot. Hifadhi Africa is with His family in prayers. Below is a condolence statement released by H.A.O Director Charles Mwakio.
I met you at ECO 1010 class where you stood out of the rest with your inquisitive questions and remarks. We went on and met in Marketing classes, where you shared to me your idea of providing desperately needed water for thousands of people in Turkana andUSIU Give was born, with your leadership we did our best and raised funds. We later on went to graduate together in 2012 and we met again when you shared another brilliant idea of starting a TV show and USIU TV was born, again you led it all the way, made me host and even proved your leadership to test when you vied for SAC and won .Come 2013 You agreed to be part of Hifadhi Africa and traveled far away with the team in spearheading our projects in East-Pokot for you believed in the vision of community development. You indeed challenged us all when you founded Kilimo Yetu. Throughout the years we have shared many good times, we laughed a lot, dreamed beyond borders, argued a bit, but most of all we respected each other as gentlemen and new one day we shall play a key role in the shaping of our countries. To me you are not gone and never will be, you still live in me and I shall forever live to honor, remember you and live by your words. My prayers and deepest condolences to your family. Till we meet again my brother & hero Jerry Isaac SALUTE!
