Hifadhi Africa Organization (HAO) is a Kenyan based non-governmental organization, non-profit organization established in 2013 under Section 10 of the NGO ACT of 1990 of Kenya with charity registration No.OP.218/051/13-0188/8936 as a development, advocacy and youth empowerment organization working to transform lives of slums dwellers, pastoralists, refugees and refugee hosting communities. HAO works in collaboration with underprivileged and marginalized communities in effort to empower them identify cause problems, leverage opportunities and enable them find appropriate solutions to overcome poverty and dependence.
We promote access to quality education, healthcare, water and livelihood through technological innovations with the aim of helping underprivileged communities rebuild their lives and achieve sustainable economic prosperity. We design new ideas, embrace change and take disciplined risks to develop sustainable solutions for and with the people we serve through ICT and other innovative channels. We aim to contribute towards solving the most challenging problems facing Africa today through sustainable and scalable projects. Over a period of 6 years, Hifadhi Africa has spearheaded innovative projects that have changed the narrative and conditions of the people we serve. HAO has highly passionate and dedicated professional volunteers embedded in our vibrant organizational culture.
